about this painting:  This painting depicts designs associated with the travels of an old woman, Kutungka Nananangka, from the west.  She visited the rockhole site of Yaranga which is west of Mantati Outstation.  She then continued on her travels. She was considered to be a bit of a “devil-devil” woman.
