about this painting: The roundels in this painting depict camp sites of a group of women camped at the rock hole site of Yumara, near Tjukula in Western Australia.  The women had travelled from Punkilpirri, a large permanent water site north-west of Docker River in the Water James Range.  They later continued their travels to the north through Tjukula and Tjalili. Whilst at Yumara the women performed ceremonies associated with the area.
