Rosie painted first with women’s batik group (Hunting Perentie – in book ‘Utopia. A Picture Story’, by Anne Marie Brody), then commenced painting acrylic on canvas.

Her art is characterized by very fine dotting and she uses two different styles in painting – free-flowing bands of color or a very restrained style with a centrally-placed design.

Rosie was painting with Artists of Ampilatwatja in 2001.
