Maggie Porter Napurrula was born in 1961 in Kulkurda and travelled with her family across the country to Papunya Tula where her father became a well known artist. Maggie moved back to Docker River when Tjukurla was first established in 1981. Maggie’s family settled in Tjukurla and have lived there ever since.
