Jacinda was born in Alice Springs, NT, in 1992. She has three young children.  Jacinda’s family comes from Adelaide Bore (formerly Woola Downs).  She divides her time between her ancestral country and Alice Springs.

Her Grandmother is Margaret Scobie and she taught Jacinda the story she depicts in her paintings (Bush Medicine Leaf).  Jacinda comes from a family of prominent and high profile artists. Her Grandmother Margaret is also sister to the late and exceptionally famous artist Emily Kngwarreye. With these family ties it has been a natural progression for Jacinda to develop her own unique way of painting this design.
