about this painting:  David paints a rock hole site just west of Jupiter Well in Western Australia.  This site is David’s grandfathers country.  The roundels represent a rock hole, and the lines represent sandhills surrounding the rockhole.  In ancestral times a large group of Tingari men camped at this site before continuing on their travels.
